In the wee hours of Thursday morning the Oscar nominee list was announced by Emma Stone and Oscar host Seth MacFarlane. There were some surprises and snubs on the list, one of them being Quvenzhané Wallis the 9 year old who was nominated for best actress in Beast of the Southern Wild. She is the youngest person to ever be nominated for an Oscar. Two notable names off the list were Ben Affleck for best director in Argo and Leonardo DiCaprio for best supporting actor in Django Unchained. It seems like Leo and the Oscars don’t have the best of luck. Bradley Cooper gets his first Oscar nom for Silver Linings Playbook which came as a big surprise to me, but in a good way. After Anne Hathaway won the Golden Globe for supporting actress in Les Mis, I feel the odds are in her favor to win best supporting actress at the Oscars. The Oscars will air Sunday, Feb. 24 at 7 p.m. And the nominees are…
