The week of WPA was not only important for those going to the dance, but also those planning on competing in the Spirit Week Contest. Each day there is a different theme that students can dress up for, and at the end of the day Pep Club picks the winners.

This year the themes were:

Monday: Movie Star Monday

Tuesday: Toga Tuesday

Wednesday: Out of this World Wednesday

Thursday: Thursbae

For junior Pep Exec Francie Wilson spirit week is a big deal.

“Being pep expect we pick the themes so i already know what I’m dressing up as before anyone knows what the themes are, which is fun. Also as Pep Exec I feel obligated to dress up every day,” Wilson said.

The Pep Execs pick the winners for each week, and the winners were announced at the Sweetheart Assembly on Thursday.

This years winners were:

Monday: Julia Cunningham

Tuesday: Caroline Weaver

Wednesday: Lena Mansi

Thursday: Annaleigh Hobbs
