Clowns Frown at the Movie ‘IT’
America’s clowns are upset with the airing of the new movie “IT”. The clown business also went down hill last year because of scary clown sightings across the country. The industry is saying that these unfair phobias are causing these problems. Scary movies are only targeting clowns when they aren’t even targeting other characters like the Easter bunny or Santa Claus.
“How can you blame movies and clowns when it has already been a phobia for years,” senior Troy Kanachy said.
Kanachy also brought up that the people with the fear of clowns cannot be blamed and that it is safer to be cautious than anything else. Last year, several people Alabama were charged with making a terrorist threat connected with clown related activity.
“I personally think that being a clown is stupid; you are literally a clown for a living,” senior Tanner Long said. “You could at least work at a gas station. There are so many good jobs out in the world.”
Long also said that if you are good with children and are funny, just become a comedian.
“You could get way more money from that,” Long said.
