Football finishes
After a hard fought battle, the Raiders are eliminated from the playoffs.
Head Coach Nick Foster thanks the Varsity football team for all their hard-work over season after a playoff elimination.
Yesterday October 27th the Shawnee Mission South Football Team played their last game of the season against the Olathe West Owls at CBAC. The Raiders lost 35-55, rallying with three touchdowns in the third quarter.
The Raiders played the Owls last Friday at home, and the competed significantly better this week.
For the whole season the Raiders won one game against the Shawnee Mission West Vikings. But their best performance was last night scoring more points than any other game.
With the largest Freshman football class in school history this year, we are sure that success is imminent. We cannot wait to see what will happen in the coming years. Thank you to all of the Football players who have devoted their time and effort on and off the field for all of these years.
