Last month, your Lady Raiders’ defeated Olathe South winning the Sunflower League Championship. 

“It felt amazing to win league. It felt like cool to see one of our goals that we set the beginning of the season to finally like, actually happen. We’re not done yet, but it was just cool to like, check that one off,” Ashley VanElders

They played Shawnee Mission East in the last in-season game a week later. With that win, they ended their season with a perfect record. 

This past week the Lady Raiders beat the Shawnee Mission West Vikings and won the Kansas 6A Sub-State Championship. With that win, they’re on their way to Wichita for the state championship. Their first game will be Thursday, March 9 against Blue Valley High School.
