Elote Taquito – $2.29
The elote taquito is a pretty recent addition to the QuikTrip lineup of roller snacks, and my first reaction to trying it was a little mixed. Somehow, it both brings a sweetness that is really pleasant while simultaneously being really bland. 3/5 stars.
Steak & Cheese Taquito – $2.29
Classic. Timeless. The steak & cheese taquito from QuikTrip is everything you could ever want in a gas station snack. It’s (fairly) cheap, tastes good, and is sufficient enough to be a meal. Minus one star for sometimes hurting my stomach. 4/5 stars.
Buffalo Chicken Bites – $2.29
I think these can be hit or miss depending on which quiktrip you go to. When they’re good, they’re 5/5 stars, but when they’re bad, they make you want to throw up. The cheese in the middle makes for a nice touch, especially late at night. 3/5 stars.
Egg Roll – $1.29
If I was in a life-or-death situation and I had to pick one quiktrip roller item, it’d be this one. I love QuikTrip egg rolls so much that I’ve considered making a fan club for them. They’re cheap, delicious, and are almost never done wrong. 5/5 stars.
