Review: The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
Pay attention, for those of you who waited a year to see the second movie in the trilogy Hunger Games. It was simply AMAZING!
I came in thinking the movie wouldn’t be as interesting or action packed as the first one. Not only did the movie live up to the book standards, it exceeded all of my expectations. Except for the ending. If you read the books you’ll be a little angry about the ending. If you haven’t read the books you’ll just be confused. Perfect example my friend Elizabeth Kihuro “Wait that’s it? I don’t understand what just happened.” The producers leave you hungry wanting more.
Nevertheless I would pay to see it again. I’d even go as far to go to AMC and pay full price, even though Cinemark is cheaper. Jennifer Lawrence does a fabulous job again playing Katniss. You could feel the chemistry throughout the movie from each of the characters. Everyone was perfectly cast and worked together flawlessly.
Catching Fire had a little bit of everything for any type of movie person. There was frightening action packed parts, puzzling portions and a lot romance. Catching Fire is relatable to everyone. Young or old. I believe every movie goer should see The Hunger Games.
