KC RenFest Rolls Back into Town

It has been an annual tradition of mine to attend the Kansas City Renaissance Festival every year since I was six years old. The festival still entertains me as it did when I was younger. While I don’t make trips to the Children’s Realm anymore, it was still very enjoyable to go from vendor to vendor and view their unique merchandise.

The only negative I experienced was the turkey leg line, and if you’ve ever had to wait in one at the fest, then you know that it often times takes 15 to 30 minutes to receive your turkey. Otherwise waiting lines anywhere else are pretty fast moving.

The entertainers are what make this festival so much fun. They have performances happening throughout the festival grounds at all times of the day.

The KC Ren Fest is open Saturdays and Sundays Aug. 30 through Oct. 13 plus Columbus Day.
