A Ticket to Your Summer Concerts

Along with summer and spring, the outdoor concert season is approaching, there is no excuse to stay in bed. There are so many different types of bands coming to the area that there is a concert for everyone. With 96.5 The Buzz still announcing their plans for the summer take a look at a few concerts that have already be announced and tickets are on sale.

Broods: Just $9.95 before fees, this concert won’t break the bank. Mikky Ekko will be the special guest while Broods will be the main band featured. This concert will be March 25 at The Midland and is all ages.

Walk the Moon: Located at the Granada in Lawrence, Walk the Moon will be headlining with The Griswolds opening. Tickets are $20 with a $7.10 fee and the concert is all ages.

The Mowgli’s: On April 2 The Mowgli’s will be performing at The Midland and tickets before fees are just $15. Even though the price of the ticket is $15, it comes with a large $10.50 fee making the tickets about $25. The Fences & Hippo Campus will be opening for The Mowgli’s at the all ages show.

Afentra’s Prom: Everyone likes free stuff so thats what 96.5 The Buzz did. This a free concert with a drawback being you have to be 18 or over to attend. Dressing in Prom on attire is required along with an ID and to make it better Vance Joy, The Kooks, Joywave and Hembree are the featured bands. This concert is on May 2nd and will be held at The Midland.

Buzz Beach Ball: This is one of the biggest concerts that 96.5 The Buzz puts on. With 11 bands, tickets for general admission on the Sporting Park field, start at $50. Seat tickets will be cheaper but to really get up close and personal with the bands general admission is where you want to be. Alt-j will be headlining and the other bands that will be there is Awolnation, Taking Back Sunday, Glass Animals, Milky Chance, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, Misterwives, Robert Delong, The Ting Tings, Hanni El Khatib, Zella Day. For all these bands ticket prices are really cheap.
