It’s no wonder Bruno Mars titled his new album Doo-Wops & Hooligans. This album revolves around a vintage blues sound to match Mars’ soulful voice while offering a great balance between slow serenades and fun songs to play on any Friday night. “The Lazy Song” is definitely worth a listen with its funny and easily relatable lyrics, but “Runaway Baby” steals the show with its catchy beat and easy-going vibe. This album will make anyone yearn for poodle skirts and sock hops while appreciating the modern R&B twists.
