How To Make Cucumber Water

Maxie Crimm, Photographer

To make cucumber water, you must first gather the following materials: a water bottle, a cucumber, a knife, a cutting board, and water. First, the water bottle. There are many places that you can purchase said water bottle, and it does not have to be the exact bottle pictured here. Walmart, Target, etc. are sure to give you plenty of choices of beverage holders. Second, you must obtain an actual cucumber. Buying a cucumber from the grocery store is the only option, so unless you would prefer to grow your own cucumber plant and wait for it cucumber to grow, it would be suggested to take a road trip to the store. After purchasing a cucumber, any cucumber will do, bring that cucumber back to where ever you please; your home, the bathroom, or maybe even a gas station. This is the most important part of preparing cucumber water. Slicing the cucumber. Once you have decided and reached your cucumber chopping destination, take a knife (which you can buy at any supermarket or home decor store) and begin cutting up the cucumber on a cutting board (so as not to ruin the surface beneath the board). As you chop the cucumber, you should think about the way that the cucumber slice neatly comes off the rest of the cucumber. You may cut as many slices as you wish, but you should not cut too many slices, or else there will not be enough room for the water to complete this detox beverage. After you are finished cutting the vegetable, you should place, or drop, the cucumber slices into the purchased water bottle mentioned earlier. Place the cucumber slices into the water bottle any way you wish; neatly, or you may just drop them in the water bottle. Place the opening of the bottle under a faucet, or, if you choose to use H20 from a plastic water bottle, pour the water from the other bottle into the new water bottle. Once you have filled the bottle with water, place a lid and close up the water bottle, so that the NEWLY MADE CUCUMBER WATER does not spill. Enjoy your beverage.
