The third installment of the Chronicles of Narnia series follows the story of Lucy and Edmund Pevensie who are on another adventure in the land of Narnia.
They voyage on the Dawn Treader, a ship captained by Prince Caspian as they journey around the Dark Island, enchanted by evil forces.
On this nautical adventure, the plot is fast and loose, jumping around from scenario to scenario which makes it hard to follow.
The storyline of this chapter of the series wasn’t very unique in comparison to the other films. There was nothing about this particular installment that made it any more desirable than its predecessors.
The Biblical allegories also made the plot slightly difficult to stomach for a religiously apathetic viewer.
The animations were incredible, as would be expected from Disney cinematographers, but overall the poor adaptation of the classic story takes away from it.
