Fire breaks out at SMS. Students are rallied into the gym while Dr. Johnson plays disco music to calm the nerves. He is currently awaiting a call to see how we should proceed.

12:30 pm:

Students are to be released from school ASAP. All sports activities will start at 3 as scheduled. Tryouts will be extended one more day. All who drove to school or walked to school can leave.
