Tuesday night’s game ended with a loss for the Lady Raiders Varsity volleyball team to Shawnee Mission East. The game started with a loss in the first match, then a win in the second and losses for the third and fourth. Varsity volleyball player and senior Abigail George thought that the loss in the first match caused the win in the second.

“We were pretty mad, our coach was yelling at us. We were pretty fired up,” George said.

However, George also said that the team ended up letting the first loss affect the rest of their play.

“We were pretty in our heads after that first match,” George said.

The Lady Raiders have three wins and 12 losses after their most recent match-up.
