KC Scholars
On May first, a few hard working students received very big news concerning their future at a ceremony accepting them into the KC Scholars program. KC Scholars is an organization formed from the Kauffman Foundation that gives college scholarships that create life- changing opportunities to improve the future. The students that receive this scholarship had no clue that they were accepted until the ceremony was held.
Junior Louis Loeb was one of the few recipients.
“I worked hard putting in hours after school and just doing homework and getting things done”, Loeb said.
Junior Elise Lovell also received the scholarship.
“It felt really great to know that my hard work had gone somewhere”, Lovell said.
As we begin to think about our futures, these students look forward to the opportunities they are given to make an impact on our future generations.
