As a freshman, you hear it all the time: “Get involved! Join activities! Make friends!” It may sound redundant, but being involved is the best way to find your people and your passions in high school.
It can be scary to put yourself out there and try something new. With so many options, it can be hard to decide what classes to enroll in and what activities to participate in. With four exciting and unknown years ahead of you, now is the best time to try something that makes you a little uncomfortable. There are so many fun electives that require no prerequisites, and there are many sports teams that don’t make cuts at tryouts!
How to get involved
