Review: Homestuck

Homestuck is a webcomic created by Andrew Hussie, about four children playing a game known little to the world. Little do they know this game will change their lives forever, from maturity to even them facing death itself.

The story starts out with one of the main characters, John Egbert in his room on his 13th birthday, story is also feels like a point and click game but later on it gets quite intense, from aliens with zodiac signs, alchemizing things from their wildest imaginations and drama, action, and romance…

Other characters include, Dave Strider, a coolkid from having sick and fly beats and phat raps, from having swordfights with his brother on top of the roof of the apartment they live in.

Rose Lalonde, an intelligent girl who has a fascination for all things dark from horrorterrors and most things gothic, also with a hobby for knitting and avoiding her alcoholic, but not abusive mother.

Jade Harley, a self raised young lass who aspires to be like her father, hunting big game animals, blowing up butterflies with unusually large blunderbusses. Other than hunting Jade also loves gardening and making remixes with Dave.

Oh and of course John Egbert, the jokester, the pranking master, a lad who loves magic and bad movies, and a novice at programming computers, and loves video games.

But more will happen than that, from new characters, plot thickening, violence and heartbreaking moments. And maybe tons of time twisting.

This story isn’t over yet so why not catch up? Speaking of catching up you have… Oh I don’t know a good six thousand pages to click through, hundres of flash games and minigames, flash animations, and amazing music to go through…

So, take your time, enjoy it, understand it, share it with your friends, your family. and please whatever you do. DON’T SKIP TO ACT 6, you’ll be lost like waking up from a hangover and finding yourself in China.
