Looking for a different way to celebrate Labor Day with friends? Then, look no further than the Labor Day Teen Dance party on Sunday, August 31st, at Orlando’s Crazy Horse nightclub. Generally only open to those over the legal age, Orlando’s is opening their doors that night to teens aged 13 to 19.

Sophomore Ali Mercer who handed out cards for the event says that Orlando’s is a great way to meet new people and spend your night out.

“The Labor Day party gets people out of the house on Sunday,” Mercer said. “I’ve been in the past, and I really enjoyed it.”

During the Summer, Orlando’s is open for teens every Sunday night. However, during the school year, Orlando’s is only open on Sundays when school is not in session the following Monday.

On their card, the club boasts about being a safe and fun environment for high schoolers, and advertises a “huge dancefloor with state of the art sound and lighting,” including pool tables and a Monster Energy bar.

Doors to the Labor Day Teen Dance open at 8 P.M. and close at midnight.

“The whole atmosphere is my favorite part,” Mercer said. “There are just people dancing everywhere and having a good time.”

Orlando’s is at 126 S Clairborne, Olathe, KS 66062.
