To be a National Merit Semifinalist seniors Isabel Holcomb, Remy Gordon and Ryan Conley had to take the PSAT and score in the top 1 percent. Next, to qualify as a finalist  they have to fill out a form by Oct. 7.

 “I felt excited about it,” Holcomb said.“It will help me choose where to attend college.”
