The feeling of your heart dropping, or maybe it was a beat…

Anyway, when you’re favorite artist releases a new single, or even worse, and entire album, it’s startling. Just think of some of the artists to do this today: Beyonce.

Need I saw more? No, Beyonce is all we need.

Continuing on. The day Beyonce released her fifth album, “Beyoncé” without warning on December 13, 2013.

She must have thought, I bet this doesn’t happen often.

Click.

Released to the world.

That does not happen often and when it does, a whole mass of people almost recreate Black Friday crowds in order to purchase the newly released CDs.

Now, it is less common to release an album without any sort of publicity campaign behind it. Needless to say, it’s horrifying feel.

Seeing that the album is available way before you expect, can be traumatic. You feel out of the loop, lost but still excited to listen to the album of course. It’s frustrating too.

You listen to the album with the same face Patrick Star had when he couldn’t see his forehead.

The nerve of Beyonce. You think to yourself.

Then out of nowhere, Beyonce bursts through your bedroom/office/whatever kind of wall was near you. She stands in amongst the rubble, but you notice the heavenly glow around her and the choir of angels that sing every time she breathes.

She gives you a look, a look that says, “You worship my music and this is the thanks I get for releasing an album unexpectedly?”

So after this epiphany, you know that you must dedicate the rest of your life to spreading the glorious song of Beyonce.

That, my friend, is what happens when your favorite artist drops a surprise album.
