12 Days of Finals

Sung to the same tune of “12 Days of Christmas,” hopefully this song makes finals seem less daunting and more bearable.

A classic Christmas song, 12 Days of Christmas can really represent anything. Just as a reminder that Christmas is approaching, this adaptation of 12 Days of Christmas will hopefully distract from the fact that finals are fast-approaching too.

A scary thought for all of us, finals are coming up quick and one way to avoid thinking about scary things is to think of the scary thing in a silly way. Hopefully this song inspires thoughts of “I will survive finals this year!”

Now in a modern twist, we have “12 Days of Finals.”

On the first day of Finals
my teacher gave to me:
A long essay prompt.

On the second day of Finals
my teacher gave to me:
Two weeks of practice,
and a long essay prompt.

On the third day of Finals
my teacher gave to me:
Three grueling hours,
Two weeks of practice,
and a long essay prompt.

On the fourth day of Finals

On the fifth day of Finals

and a long essay prompt.

On the sixth day of Finals

Four days of notes,
Three grueling hours,

On the seventh day of Finals
