South’s previous network analyst Brent Michaels is no longer taking the case.

“He worked here for six months before he took a job for a private company. He left near the end of october,” Librarian Debi O’Brien said.

The slot for a network analyst had been open for around 2 months, another head in the game would help keep South’s technology up and running. Say hello to South’s new network analyst Fabian Solis.

Solis is the architect who will coordinate technology to keep South afloat, all while helping students fix their computer issues.

“[I was moved where I was needed] it has been a while since South had an analyst, before I came here I worked at Shawnee Mission West for three years. I plan on being here as long as I am needed,” Solis said. “This would be my second official week working here at South, but I was here helping around since mid-December.”

Even though Solis hasn’t been at here for very long he has made his presence known to Apple core students, showing that he means business.

“By far he is the more efficient network analyst. He knows what he is doing. I think he has a really good chance of staying here. He fixes the problem as they come up,” senior Ian Wallace said.
