First ever SMS homecoming parade

Fellow Shawnee Mission elementary kids join our SMS parade with enthusiasm. They made signs and held them high near the front of the line.

The 50 year anniversary float makes it way to the finish line. The 50 year decor had many complements.

Cars, cars, and more cars! Many volunteers drove their classics in support of the first ever homecoming parade.

Finishing up the parade, it ends in the sophomore parking lot. With a big crowd cheering for the finale, it seemed to be a big turnout.

Fellow Shawnee Mission elementary kids join our SMS parade with enthusiasm. They made signs and held them high near the front of the line.

Sophomore Sara Wilkerson, preforms her uneven bar routine. Wilkerson practices after school with other south students as well as SME students. Wilkerseron has been a gymnast for 9 years.

Freshman Bergan Cooper, trys out her new beam routine. She has not placed yet but that won't stop her.
